About Us
SIXTH SENSE Investigation Agency was established as a partnership by three retired professionals with proven track record from Central Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in March 2006, with headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala.
In tune with the technological advancements and to adapt to new developments in the private investigation sector, SIXTH SENSE was re-registered with the new name SIXTH SENSE DETECTIVES AND INVESTIGATION BUREAU in April 2021 as a Partnership Firm with Registration No.1909/2021.
Now, in the beginning of New Year 2026, we have reconstituted the partnership, infusing new blood to the firm by adding three more professionals, two with Investigative acumen and one with financial exposure and expertise in conducting enquiries.
We, overall as a firm, have experience of 20 years in this field and we have a strong network of experienced Investigators across the country. We are headed by a team of retired professionals from the Intelligence Bureau, CBI, CISF and Banks with over 30 years of service in their respective fields.
All our field Investigators are experienced professionals in their area of operations and are former officers with outstanding service in Intelligence / Investigative departments of Central / State Government departments and are spread out in all districts of Kerala & Tamil Nadu and at all major centres in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telengana. We have an effective system in place to gather information through reliable and discreet channels.

After reconstituting early this year, we have already been empanelled with Indian Overseas Bank and Canara Bank. Chief Executive OfficerServed over 36 years in the Central Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and retired as Joint Deputy Director. Served as Zonal Asst Director in Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. Of India. Awarded with Investigation Professional of the year Award in 2011, Best Investigator of the year Award in 2012 and 2017 and also received the prestigious Life time Achievement Award for Professional Investigation in 2019. Presently he is the National Vice President of All India Association of professional investigators and the only member of World Association of Detectives (WAD) from the State of Kerala. He has been part of Sixth Sense since inception.
K G Venugopal
Chief Operating OfficerServed over 20 years in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and retired as DSP. Headed operations of the Narcotics Control Bureau in Kerala and neighboring Districts of Tamil Nadu. Led Forensic investigations, including evidence collection and analysis as the Manager Advisory Forensic Services in KPMG India. Also serving as Independent Consultant to various corporate clients, Banks and Asset Management Groups. Core competencies are Fraud Risk management, Crime Intelligence & Analysis, Financial & Corporate Investigations, Due diligence & Risk management & Forensic Audit.
Manoj S R
Chief Investigating OfficerServed over 20 Years in the Central Industrial Security Force and retired as Assistant Commandant. Worked at various prestigious Industrial Undertakings of Coal/Port/Fertilizer Sectors and Department of Space (DOS) and Airport Security. Awarded with Director General’s Commendation Disc. Represented the Indian Police Contingent for the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Kosovo. Served over 15 years as Head of the security Team for Kerala and Coimbatore Locations in the Narcotics Control Bureau. Presently also working as a consultant and Trainer for various Security Agencies.
K S Gopikrishna
Chief Administrative OfficerServed over 35 years in the State Bank and retired from it in 2017. Served as a very successful Defense Representative for a large number of cases in the Bank’s Disciplinary proceedings and enquires. Served as the Deputy General Secretary of all Banking Organisations at state and central levels, Viz; Associate Banks Officers Association, State Bank Officers Federation and the Apex organization of all Bank officers, the All India Bank Officers Confederation. Served as Administrator, Travancore Bank Officers Educational Society and Director, Trivandrum Bank Officers Cooperative Society.
Shri. K. Natarajan
Chief Co-ordinatorServed in the Central Intelligence Bureau, Union Home Ministry for more than two decades and served as a faculty in the Training School of Intelligence Bureau New Delhi. He established a law firm, Ram and Raj Law Associates at Madurai, Tamilnadu in 1995. He is also the Chairman of Asset Foundation Madurai, Managing Director of Allied Constructions & Consultancy, Madurai, Director Alagendran Finance Ltd. and Anusha Medical Services Pvt. Ltd. He has been part of Sixth Sense since inception.
Shri S. Krishnan Nair
Chief advisorServed over two decades in Central Intelligence Bureau, Union Home Ministry, Government of India. He took voluntary retirement and worked in various companies abroad. Holder of a Post Graduate Coaching Diploma in swimming with first Rank from National Institute of Sports, Patiala, he had worked as Swimming Coach under the Kerala Sports Council and was also Kerala State Swimming Coach for two years prior to joining the Intelligence Bureau. He has been part of Sixth Sense since inception.
Legal Status
Under the Constitution of India, detectives and private investigation agencies are entitled to practice the profession but unlike in many other countries there have been no legal authority to oversee and regulate the functioning of detectives in our country. To rectify this lacunae, Private Detectives (Regulation) Bill was introduced in Parliament in the year 2007 .The Bill envisaged to reduce the workload of police personnel on jobs like issuing summons, verification of passports, job screening etc; by using private professional detective agencies. The Bill could not be enacted by the Parliament as the successive Governments did not pursue the matter vigorously. Efforts are on by the All India Association of Professional Detectives and Investigators to get the Bill reintroduced and adopted by the Parliament as early as possible. Recently, All India Chairman, APDI, Sri Kunwar Vikram Singh had a meeting with the Union Home Ministry officials and they have assured to get the Private detectives Bill introduced and get it enacted at the earliest.
